Effective date: June 23, 2026  ·  Last updated: June 23, 2026

Whitlow Commercial Real Estate Inc. (“Whitlow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit whitlowcre.com or contact us, how we use and share it, and the rights you have — including the rights granted to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Section 01

Who we are

Whitlow Commercial Real Estate Inc. is a commercial real estate brokerage based in Redding, California, serving Shasta County and the surrounding North State. Our website is whitlowcre.com.

For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@whitlowcre.com or (530) 319-2776.

Section 02

Information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the site, and information from third-party services.

Information you provide

When you submit a contact or inquiry form, request listing alerts, or email or call us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company (if provided), and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, and your interactions with the site, through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties

Our property-search tools and analytics providers may provide aggregated or device-level information about how the site is used.

Categories of personal information (CCPA)

Under the CCPA, the categories of personal information we may collect are:

  • Identifiers — such as name, email address, phone number, and IP address.
  • Customer records and commercial information — inquiry and transaction-related details you provide.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity — browsing and interaction data.
  • Geolocation data — approximate, city-level, derived from IP address.
  • Inferences — drawn from the above, such as the type of property you may be interested in.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or precise geolocation through the website.

Section 03

How we use your information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, provide brokerage services, and follow up on properties.
  • Send listing alerts or updates that you request.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website and its tools.
  • Analyze site usage and measure performance.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security issues, or misuse.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Section 04

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers and contractors who perform services on our behalf — including website hosting, form processing, email, analytics (such as Google), and property-search tools (such as Buildout) — and who are contractually limited to using your information only to provide those services.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Section 05

Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site functions. Where required, we honor browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

Section 06

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the following rights:

  • Right to know and access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the parties we have disclosed it to.
  • Right to delete — request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information (see the next section).
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by law, so no limitation is necessary.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.

How to submit a request. Email hello@whitlowcre.com, call (530) 319-2776, or use our contact form. We will verify your request by confirming information we already hold about you. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days, with the possibility of an extension where permitted).

Section 07

Do not sell or share my personal information

Whitlow does not sell your personal information for monetary value, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you would like to opt out of any analytics-based “sharing” as defined under California law, you can enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or contact us at hello@whitlowcre.com, and we will honor your request.

Section 08

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — to respond to and serve you, to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and to resolve disputes. Inquiry records are generally retained for the duration of our business relationship and a reasonable period afterward; automatically collected analytics data is retained according to our providers’ standard retention settings.

Section 09

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Section 10

Children’s privacy

The website is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Section 11

Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites and tools that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites; we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
